Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF: the ultimate thermal optic for hunting
The Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF is the accessory of choice for hunting enthusiasts. It can be used hand-held for observation or mounted on a rifle scope by means of simple rings. Thanks to its cutting-edge technology, this thermal monocular can identify targets with precision, even in the most difficult conditions. Its laser rangefinder lets you know the exact distance to the target, so you can prepare for the best possible shot.
Wide field of vision and high image quality.
High-quality imaging, delivering sharp, natural, high-contrast images, is ideal for hunting and wildlife observation. This is made possible by the high-performance French sensor, combined with Leica’s recently enhanced Leica Image Optimization (LIO™) image processing software. In addition, a wide field of view enables detection of heat sources measuring 1.8 meters up to 2,210 meters. Up to 770 meters, it is possible to identify this source, and its identification becomes certain up to 390 meters.
Laser rangefinder integrated into Calonox 2 Sight LRF.
A world first, the Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF incorporates a highly accurate laser rangefinder with a maximum range of 1,200 metres. Enabling safe and respectful hunting, this technology indicates the exact distance to the target directly during aiming. The rangefinder can be triggered via the button on the Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF, or via an optional remote control that attaches to the front or back of the weapon. This remote control can also trigger photo or video shooting.
Simple mounting on the rifle scope.
The Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF is easily mounted on almost any rifle scope using two rings:

Mounting on another weapon without adjustment.
The Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF benefits from meticulous manufacturing and precise finishing of its components, guaranteeing optimum centering straight from the factory. As a result, there’s no need for adjustment at the shooting range. It can be installed and used immediately, and easily transferred from one weapon to another without any offset of the point of impact.
Silent digital shutter without noise or image clipping.
Conventional thermal optics calibrate at regular intervals, resulting in a “clacking” noise and the appearance of a frozen image. In contrast, the shutter of Leica Calonox 2 thermal optics is “shutterless”. Thanks to Leica software, calibration is performed silently and without interrupting image display. The Calonox 2 LRF is therefore extremely discreet and guarantees a clear image of the target when shooting.
